16 Female Heroes On Screen

The last couple of years has really seen some progress with the way women are being portrayed on TV and at the Cinema, as the girls seem to be taking off their flowery dress and strapping up their chainmail as they ride of in to battle with the men! But is all seriousness, the girls are really kicking some ass right now, and here are our favourite ones!

1) Star Wars - Rey (Daisy Ridley)

Well where else could we possibly start? Daisy Ridley’s portrail of Rey in the latest Star Wars has left us thinking that Disney buying the rights for the film is possibly the best idea any one has ever has since slice bread. It is kind of hard to explain why she is so awesome without giving away the entire story, but take our word for it that Rey is going to be your new hero!
