The royal couple will visit India!!!

The royal family Prince William and his wife Kate to meet and greet with different Bollywood royalty such as Aamir Khan with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor at Indian Fundraiser.

Prince William and Kate will be serenaded by different Bollywood’s finest when they touch down in India on Sunday at a star-studded fundraiser so here we take a look at each of them and their incredible careers.

The royal couple will be entertained at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai by an explosion of Bollywood dancers and music artists. They will also schmooze with 200 Indian film and they will have a chance to speak with big Bollywood names such as Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, Rishi Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai as well. Farhan Akhtar as well as cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar too!

The reception and dinner that is planned for Sunday will raise funds for three charities. The Cambridges will have to meet earlier during the first day in India in order support the vulnerable children in Mumbai and across India.

This said fundraising event is organized by the British Asian Trust, whose members include Syco executive Sonny Takhar who works with Simon Cowell and One Direction. Sonny said that it would be a remiss for them to go to India and could not experience Bollywood culture since it is such an important part of the cultural fabric of the country and it is fantastic that they are going to experience it.

The British High Commissioner to India Sir Dominic Asquith KCMG said that their Royal Highnesses are delighted to have this opportunity to celebrate India’s notable contribution to cinema and to meet some of Mumbai’s most influential people in film, sport and business. It was announced as well yesterday that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will have lunch with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday 12 April in New Delhi.

Indian Bollywood star actor Shah Rukh Khan who is also a producer and television personality will join the couple for the bash. He is more known as King Khan by his fans and the star has appeared in more than 80 Bollywood films and earned 14 Filmfare Awards. Shah Rukh Khan has previously been described as one of the most successful film stars in the world and has starred in films including Dilwale and Happy New Year.

Aamir Khan who is often described as one of the most popular and influential actors of Indian cinema also join the guest list. The director and actor boast a staggering 17.2 million Twitter followers dwarfing Kensington Palace’s 620,000 and the British Monarchy’s 2.12 million.

Aamir Khan has won four National Film Awards and seven Filmfare Awards as well as being honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri in 2003 and the Padma Bhushan in 2010. He set up his own production company in 2001 whose first release Lagaan was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film and earned him a National Film Award for Best Popular Film and two more Filmfare Awards which are Best Actor and Best Film.
