2. The Sony Pictures Email Hack

That scandal threatened Sony Pictures as a whole, but was saved thanks in large part to the success of the latest James Bond film, “Skyfall”. To put it short, 2014 threw Sony Pictures under the bus, and it all started when a film, “The Interview” was made and was about to be released. Apparently, a group of hackers from North Korea were not pleased with Seth Rogen and James Franco’s movie, and thus threatened the studio to cancel its release else they will release all the top secret information including the private info of its employees to everyone on the internet. As a result? Sony Pictures chairperson Amy Pascal stepped down.
