Gigi Hadid and Devon Windsor on Masterchef Celebrity Showdown

Anyone on the planet who has watched the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last December 8 probably knows who Gigi Hadid and Devon Windsor are. Why, even my ten- and twelve-year-old nieces are familiar with them – well most probably owing to the facts that Gigi has recently been seen romping around with the ex-One Direction member, Zayn Malik; and that the said fashion show has aired on the television over the Christmas holidays as much as the Star Wars anthology has.

Anyway, for those who have been living in a cave or under a rock for the past couple of years, Gigi Hadid and Devon Windsor are international supermodels who happen to be the best of friends. They can be seen everywhere: on illustrious fashion shows, glaring billboards, and noteworthy Gigi, who was born and raised in Los Angeles, has not only appeared in countless advertisements, but also in the arms of popular celebrities such as Cody Simpson and Joe Jonas. Meanwhile Devon, who hails from St. Louis, Missouri, has graced as many well-known ads, but unlike the latter, her love life is a little under wraps.Regardless of what they have been up to in the past and quite recently, Gigi and Devon are without question two of the youngest and freshest faces who are currently trotting on the runways all over the world. And soon enough, they would be hitting a place where most people don’t expect them to be – the sets of the renowned cooking show, Masterchef Honestly, when I saw the story on the news two days ago, I could not help but think, “So those two can actually cook?!” I have previously though that can’t eat anything else aside from vegetables and crackers thus you can imagine my surprise that they are actually going to whip up something that is worthy of Gordon Ramsay.

But you know, whatever. If that is the case, well then good! They can set an example to people – both young and old alike – that in order to have svelte figures and rocking bodies, you don’t have to forego preparing food and eating them. Who knows, we might even learn a healthy recipe or two from those two beauties.And besides, it is essentially for a good cause since Gigi and Devon are facing off against each other and slave away in the kitchen in order to raise funds for the Global Alliance and the St. Louis Children’s Hospital,

So for those who are interested in watching these two supermodels battle it out at Masterchef Celebrity Showdown – just like me – you can catch it this coming January 18 at 8 o’ clock in the evening on Fox. They’ll be joined on the said special by other celebrity pairs who are also competing for charity such as Empire co-stars Kaitlin Doubleday versus Ta’Thonda Jones, married couples Terry and Rebecca Crews versus Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker, and Masterchef winners versus Masterchef Junior champions.Needless to say, it is one interesting show in the making. I am already hungry for it!
