We see different people that have been putting up with the different things that life will be slapping on their lives. We see people struggle, and a few has even given up their fight. But to be completely honest, these struggles are what is shaping our lives and whether we like it or not, we owe those struggles on what we are today. Those same struggles have shaped us and its the ones that we have to thank and acknowledge. Because without any of those problems that has made us try and get out of a really tough situation, then probably, we are not going to be as wise as we are today.

And as struggles in life can go, some have even had the unfortunate opportunity of having to deal with the fact that they will be losing their loved ones. And that, in itself, is not a very great feeling and grieving is not even enough to fill in the gaps that they will be leaving behind.

When a man named Kyle Daniel went into the mall, he has steeled himself on what he wants to do. Carrying something that he has been treasuring, he went in line to meet someone that has been making children happy this season. He went in line, but unlike everyone else, he was alone and was carrying something in his arms and without a child.

Caleb Ryan Sigmon, who was playing Santa in their local mall, has recounted a story that he will not forget. It was something so beautifully heartbreaking. He saw the man who came without a child and as when it was his turn, he flipped what he was carrying which was a picture of a baby. He handed Santa his request. Sigmon recounted, “A man walked in today holding something in his arms. ‘I have a request,’ he said, turning around this picture frame. He took a moment. ‘My son passed away, last year.’ He choked up and couldn’t finish his sentence. The entire photo set was silent.”

“I said, ‘Absolutely.’ Without anyone saying anything, he handed me the frame and I placed it on my knee. In the photo, I could see on the little boy’s armband that his first name was Hayden. I didn’t ask any questions, but I am guessing that this is his first photo with Santa. The camera snap was the only sound I could hear through the entire mall.”

And despite his lost, Sigmon is sure that he is struggling with the grief that he is feeling. It was hard to lose someone you live, and whenever a baby dies, you would actually think that the poor fellow never had the opportunity to live his life fully. Baby Hayden was said to ha have died because of a congenial heart disease. It has made his parents devastated, but we are sure that he won’t be forgotten.
